Clean Girl Makeup

Glossy, groomed and bare-looking: a dewy skin tint, cream bronzer and blush, brushed-up brows, curled lashes and a glossy lip over a soft liner.

When to wear it

Wear it to work, the gym, a coffee date or on holiday, any day you want to look groomed with almost nothing on. It is for you if you like glossy lips and brows that show every hair. The pictures show it on medium skin with hazel eyes and freckles, on monolid eyes and on tan skin.

Shades

  1. Contourcream bronzer
  2. Cheekpink-peach cream
  3. Browsclear gel, brushed up
  4. Lipsbrown liner, clear balm

How it's done

A sheer, dewy skin tint with concealer only where needed, skin texture still showing. A cream bronzer warmed lightly under the cheekbones and on the temples, a soft pink-peach cream blush high on the cheeks, and a liquid highlight dabbed on the top of the cheekbones and the bridge of the nose. Brows brushed straight up with clear brow gel so every hair shows. No shadow and no liner. Lashes curled with one coat of black mascara. Lips softly lined in a brown-nude liner and covered in a clear, glossy balm.

Questions

How is clean girl makeup different from no-makeup makeup?
Clean girl makeup adds shine and warmth. It uses a cream bronzer, a liquid highlight on the cheekbones and nose, black mascara and a lined, glossy lip. No-makeup makeup has no highlight or liner and stops at brown mascara and a clear balm.
How do I get the brushed-up brows?
Brush the brows straight up with a clear brow gel and skip pencil, so every hair shows. For more hold, wait until the gel feels tacky and brush them up a second time.
