Natural Bridal Makeup
A bride who still looks like herself: a skin-like glow, peachy-pink blush, a champagne lid, individual lashes and a soft pink-nude lip that lasts all day.
When to wear it
Wear it for a registry office, a beach or a garden wedding, or any ceremony where you want to look like yourself on a very good day. It is for you if you skip winged liner and strip lashes. The pictures show it on tan skin, on medium skin with hazel eyes and freckles and on monolid eyes.
Shades
- Lidchampagne wash
- Creasesoft taupe-brown
- Cheekpeachy pink
- Lipssoft pink-nude
How it's done
A skin-like, long-wear satin base with concealer where needed and skin texture still showing, with a soft glow on the cheekbones. A peachy-pink cream blush on the apples, set with a matching powder blush. Brows brushed up and softly filled. A light champagne wash across the lid and a soft taupe-brown in the crease and at the outer corner. A brown liner pressed tight into the upper lash line with no wing. Individual lashes at the outer corners and brown-black mascara. Lips in a soft pink-nude, lined to match and topped with a little balm.
Questions
- How do I make natural bridal makeup last all day?
- Use a long-wear satin base in a thin layer, so your skin texture still shows. Set the peachy-pink cream blush with a matching powder blush, and line the lips in the same pink-nude before the lipstick.
- Natural bridal makeup or soft bridal glam?
- Natural bridal makeup has no wing, individual lashes at the outer corners only and a soft pink-nude lip. Soft Bridal Glam adds full coverage, a thin brown wing and full lashes, and swaps the pink-nude for a glossy mauve-nude.
